Five D-Rings, Padded Waist Pad and Twin Lanyard

FORTE F6-201 PLUS — Full Body Harness with Five D-Rings, Padded Waist Pad and Double Hook Lanyard

Overview

  • The FORTE F6-201 PLUS is a full body harness built for those who work at height and need positioning as well as fall protection. That shows in its D-ring layout: one dorsal D-ring as the designated fall arrest attachment, two sternal D-rings allowing a front connection for climbing work and ladder systems, and two lateral D-rings at the waist dedicated to work positioning — supporting the body on a positioning lanyard so both hands are free to work on a pole, façade or scaffold. The integrated padded waist pad and sit strap add back support that eases fatigue during long spells in the positioning stance. Adjustment is four-point, at the shoulders, chest, waist and thighs, giving a closer fit to each wearer than harnesses with limited adjustment. The webbing is dual colour to make the correct orientation obvious while donning and reduce the risk of wearing it inverted. The harness is supplied with a twin (double hook) shock-absorbing lanyard with two large scaffold hooks, allowing 100% tie-off while moving between anchor points. Packaging is 5 pieces per carton, made in India. Available through Al-Najma Al-Wataniyah with guaranteed quality and fast delivery across Riyadh, Dammam, and all KSA regions.

Documentation & Standards

  • Any harness is judged by what each attachment point is for, and here there are three distinct functions. The dorsal D-ring is the fall arrest point, sitting between the shoulder blades to spread the arrest load across the torso and keep the body upright after arrest. The two sternal D-rings provide a front connection for climbing work and ladder systems where reaching the dorsal ring is difficult. The two lateral D-rings are for work positioning, with a positioning lanyard running between them to support the body and free both hands. Completing the system is the twin shock-absorbing lanyard, which absorbs fall energy and lowers the arrest force on the body. Product documentation and conformity certificates can be provided on request to support project files.
  • Additional reference standards for the Saudi market:
  • EN 361 (full body harnesses) · EN 358 (belts for work positioning and restraint)
  • EN 355 (energy absorbers) · EN 354 (lanyards) · EN 362 (connectors)
  • ANSI/ASSP Z359.11 (full body harnesses) · ANSI Z359.13 (shock absorbing lanyards) — for American specifications
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/425 — Category III personal protective equipment

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is each of the five D-rings for?

  • The dorsal D-ring is for fall arrest and is the primary attachment. The two sternal D-rings provide a front connection for climbing work and ladder systems. The two lateral D-rings are for work positioning only, supporting the body to free both hands, with a positioning lanyard running between them.

Q2: What is the difference between work positioning and fall arrest?

  • Work positioning supports the body in a fixed stance to free the hands and is not designed to absorb fall energy. Fall arrest is a system that actually stops a fall, through the dorsal D-ring and a shock-absorbing lanyard. The two are used together: positioning for the task, the absorbing lanyard for protection.

Q3: What does dual colour webbing add?

  • It makes the orientation of the harness obvious before donning, reducing the risk of wearing it inverted, which would place the dorsal D-ring incorrectly and cost the harness part of its effectiveness during arrest.

Q4: What is the benefit of a twin lanyard?

  • It allows 100% tie-off while moving between anchor points: the second leg is clipped to the new anchor before the first is released. The unused leg is parked in the harness keepers, never on the dorsal D-ring.

Q5: Is delivery available to Riyadh, Dammam, and all KSA regions?

  • Yes, supply is available across all KSA regions with bulk quantities available for B2B projects and equipping work-at-height crews.
